Starting with the 2024 model year, Jeep offered an optional power/electric seat on the Wrangler JL and JLU. If your 2024+ Wrangler has the power seat option, the seat controls sit differently than on a manual seat — specifically the side adjustment controls and lumbar switches.

Note: If your 2024+ Wrangler has manual seats (no power option), standard JL seat covers fit identically to 2018–2023 models. This page only applies to the optional power seat configuration.

2024+ Power Seat vs Manual Seat — What Changes for Covers

Side controls: Power seat has adjustment buttons/switches on the seat side that some covers can interfere with or cover up
Seat base: Power seat motor assembly can change the under-seat clearance and base geometry slightly
Lumbar control: If equipped with lumbar adjustment, the control placement matters for cover fit
What doesn't change: The seat back, headrest, and general cushion dimensions are the same as 2018–2023

How to Tell if Your 2024+ Has Power Seats

Look for adjustment switches on the outboard side of the seat base (driver side left, passenger side right)
Check your window sticker or build sheet for "Power Driver Seat" or "8-Way Power Seat" option
Manual seats have the traditional lever under the front of the seat
